Do you do commissions?

I welcome the opportunity to make special items for you. Please email me with any queries. I require a non-refundable 50% deposit on all special orders to cover material costs. I aim to provide a fair price but all commissions are subject to Silver price fluctuation and may therefore vary slightly (either lower or higher than the original estimate).  The balance must be paid on receipt of a photograph of the finished piece.

Please allow up to two weeks for commissions to be completed.

Is your silver jewellery Hallmarked?

Legally all Silver work over 7 grams requires Hallmarking. All my items over 7g are duly Hallmarked by the London Assay Office and include my makers mark.  Earrings, rings and other light pieces are not Hallmarked but are all made from 100% Sterling silver 925 or Fine silver 995. Occasionally I use brass, copper or recycled gold in my work but this is always clearly stated in the description.

Can you do alterations and resizing?

Most items can be altered (chain length/type etc) for a flat cost of £10. i'm very aware that modern clasps are sometimes tricky for busy mums and painful hands so I make my own ' S clasp' hooks which sit beautifully on the back of the neck. Some of the more delicate necklaces come on a manufactured chain with a lobster claw catch. Please email me if you would prefer a home made clasp.

Can I choose the stones for my jewellery?

I use a variety of semi-precious stones and Freshwater pearls in my work. Please ask if there is a particular colour or Birthstone you would like....am happy to tailor the piece for you. I do not undertake stone setting as this is a specialism.

Do you do Gift Vouchers?

I provide gift certificates for £10 upwards. Currently I cannot accept vouchers for online purchases - please contact me if you have been given a voucher you'd like to spend.

No change can be given. May be used in full or part purchase. Can be used for one transaction only.

Do you provide packaging?

All jewellery items are gift packaged in an organza bag, inside a Pale Blue ribboned re-usable gift bag. No need for you to worry about gift wrapping at Christmas. They will be sent out to you in a sealed padded black or pale blue envelope. Parcels may be sent direct to recipient on request.

How do I stop my silver jewellery from tarnishing?

It is highly recommended you remove your jewellery before sporting activity and when going to bed.

  • Do not wear jewellery when bathing, showering, swimming or washing up .

  • Avoid contact with perfumes and makeup.

  • Most silver jewellery can be brought back to life using a silver cloth or silver dip.

(Pearls should not be dipped as removes lustre).
